Our client, a leader in building supplies, hardware and timber sales with a reputation as being the best in the business is seeking a Trade Sales assistant for their front counter of their hardware division also known as the "one stop shop" for builders in the NT, to join their large, friendly and dynamic team based at Winnellie.

So what will the role entail? On a day to day you will assist customers over the counter and telephone with hardware orders by:

• Delivering high levels of customer service through timely processing of all sales;
• Prepare hardware orders for customers;
• Build relationships with all key stakeholders from the dispatch team to the drivers;
• And undertake ad hoc duties such as invoicing and other office duties.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service;
• Have knowledge of trade, hardware or building supplies;
• Sales experience;
• Some knowledge of computers and basic office skills;
• Current drivers licence;
• A likeable approach;
• A forklift licence is desirable.

This position would suit an experienced Sales Assistant with a background in trade/building sales.
