We are seeking hard working "production labourers" for a well regarded small goods manufacture in the Western Suburbs (Altona). Our client prides themselves on their reputation and diverse product range which includes, sliced meats/hams and bacon products.

It is preferable that you have come from a similar background however food industry experience will also be considered.

You will need to be flexible in your work approach as you will be required to work across day, afternoon or night shifts (rostered arrangement) as well as being able to accept on-call work as required. It is a requirement of this role that you are available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Your typical duties will include, machine operation, packing of goods, labelling, general line processing and labouring duties. Applicants that have previous meat trimming and/or knife hand experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a committed work attitude and willingness attend work at short notice if not rostered on. Good communication skills including literacy and numeracy essential.
