Project Manager - New IT shared services environment

This highly successful investment bank has recently started setting up a centralised IT shared services team to better manage collaborative technology across the group. At this stage they have just appointed an IT Director and an Enterprise Architect to head up this division and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help deliver a number of initiatives in line with the shared services architecture.

In your new role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 3 to 4 concurrent projects to help build the platforms that this team will deliver and support. This role presents a great opportunity for you to be a part of this completely new initiative. It should be noted that this role is within an applications team and as such, we are looking for candidates who've worked in applications environments as opposed to infrastructure.

To be successful in your new role you will need:
  • Prior experience as a Project Manager delivering to multiple businesses or divisions concurrently
  • Experience delivering projects within a shared services environment
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a number of concurrent projects
Experience delivering projects within a shared services environment
You would be expected to have a computing or engineering related Degree as well as outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
