A leading Australian owned IT company is seeking a Network engineer to service our large base of corporate customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast growing IT team of high quality engineers.

You will be responsible for aspects of design, implementation and the management of LAN and WAN environments. Oversee and perform administration, configuration and monitoring of all network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN concentrators, etc.). You will also be required to work cooperatively with third party Suppliers and customer staff to facilitate effective planning and design of the Network services.

Advanced support, troubleshooting and implementation experience with the following:

Essential:
Strong Checkpoint Firewall
Juniper security including Remote Access, Firewall, and NSM

Desirable
IBM ISS
Bluecoat Proxy
RSA, LDAP, RADIUS authentication
Unix knowledge

Useful
Cisco networking and security 

You need to be a client focused, well organised with good attention to detail, a strong work ethic and have the ability to work both independently and within a team of engineers. Excellent customer service and communication skills will also see you succeed in this role.
